Secondary glazing is a slimline glazed unit which sits inside your existing windows, which is barely noticeable (unless you look for it). With its ultra-slim sightlines, you will enjoy a truly unobstructed view that works well when paired with any existing window style.

We currently have five separate types to choose from, but we can also custom-manufacture windows to any shape or size. Whatever window style you have, we can offer a secondary glazing solution to match. All our products feature slim lines that are suitable for the modern way of living.

Secondary glazing reduces noise and improves thermal insulation because it is an effective and affordable alternative to a traditional window. A fast and effective way to block out draughts and noise, we’re sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the added peace and quiet. In recent tests, noise levels were reduced by as much as 80% and up to 65% for reduction in heat loss.

Several of our product types come with removable secondary glazed frames, so you can gain access for cleaning and maintenance. But the units themselves do not require much more than an occasional wipe.

From a noise cancellation perspective, secondary glazing is a very effective way to reduce levels as the small gap between the existing window and secondary unit is effectively an acoustic insulator which can block sounds. This means you can reduce noise levels by up 80% without the hassle of replacing all your windows.

Poorly-performing windows can account for up to 10% of your home’s heat loss, but secondary glazing adds value by helping you reduce the amount you spend to heat your home. This is especially noticeable in older homes where they may not be as much insulation.
