We only use sustainably-sourced engineered softwood and hardwood for the manufacture of all our wooden windows and doors. We only use FSC® 100% certified timber, and because they are made from naturally renewable materials, you can get the look you love whilst reducing your carbon footprint.

To provide you with a warm home, our double glazed timber windows and doors offer a 1.2 U-value, exceeding the new Part L 2023 building regulations. They can also achieve impressive U-values starting from 1.2 W/m²K – which is 15% better than the guidelines. If you want triple glazed timber windows, we can achieve U-values starting from 0.8W/m²K – 43% better than the regulations stipulate.

Our timber windows may look amazing but they don’t cost the earth. According to the latest industry research, wooden window frames have the lowest embodied carbon of any window material. Compared to uPVC windows (which have 110kg CO²e) and aluminium windows (161kg CO²e), timber windows are just 85kg CO²e.

Timber windows are ideal for conservation areas because they can seamlessly blend in with historic architecture. Their traditional aesthetic and craftsmanship mirror the original designs, meaning they often comply with even the most stringent regulations. Timber’s authentic appearance can also preserve the heritage and character of a building because of its ability to precisely replicate period features.
